The Wisconsin Humane Society hired us to design an interactive interior for their new facility. Our goal was to make the interior space so beautiful and so different from what people might expect an animal shelter to be. We created fun and one-of-a-kind exhibits to help further the society’s mission of treating animals with respect and kindness, and promoting the human-animal bond. We also developed educational displays to showcase the “green,” sustainable strategies used in the construction and design of the building. By designing a comfortable interior space, we created a destination point to attract more people to the shelter, increase volunteerism, raise adoption rates and ultimately save more lives.
